Members of the public will be allotted 3 minutes to speak, unless additional time is granted by the Chairperson. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1.CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019-20 {STRATEGIC PLAN NOS. 3,2; 3,5} – <br />Jerry Guevara, Case Planner. <br />REQUEST: Filed by Core Development Services, representing Crown Castle, to <br />renew the entitlements of an existing 60-foot high major wireless (“mono-pine”) <br />communications facility located at 2210 North Grand Avenue in the Arterial <br />Commercial (C-5) zone. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: In accordance with the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) the recommended action is exempt from CEQA per <br />Section 15061(b) (3). This exemption applies to projects where it can be seen with <br />certainty that there is no possibility that the ac tivity in question may have a significant <br />effect on the environment. The project proposes to renew an existing major wireless <br />facility through the issuance of a new CUP. No expansion of square footage or <br />physical land disturbances are proposed as part of t he project. Environmental Review <br />No. 2018-73 will be filed for this project. <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: Adopt a resolution. A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019-20 AS CONDITIONED TO RENEW THE <br />ENTITLEMENTS OF AN EXISTING 60-FOOT TALL MAJOR WIRELESS <br />COMMUNICATION FACILITY LOCATED AT 2210 NORTH GRAND AVENUE. <br />General Notes: Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on June 14, <br />2019 and notices mailed on June 13, 2019. Decision on this matter is final unless <br />appeal within 10 days. <br />2.CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019-19 AND VARIANCE NO. 2019-02 <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3, 2} – Selena Kelaher, Case Planner. <br />REQUEST: Filed by DNG Properties, LLC, to allow: (1) an adult day care facility; and <br />(2) a reduction in off-street parking in order to facilitate the operation of an adult day <br />care facility and professional office uses at an existing two-story building located at <br />1800 North Bush Street in the Professional (P) zone. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: In accordance with the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the project is exempt from further review per <br />Section 15301 of the Guidelines for CEQA. The Class 1 exemption applies to the <br />operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of <br />existing private structures involving no negligible or no expansion of the use.
