The City of Santa Ana operates a year-round program to <br />maintain private properties free of weeds, rubbish, and <br />garbage, pursuant to Chapter 16, Article III of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code (SAMC). <br />Accumulation of trash, debris and the general lack of property <br />maintenance on railroad properties have become increasingly <br />noticeable to the community and are negatively impacting the <br />health and welfare of the community and residents of the city. <br />Code Enforcement Division posted and advised the property <br />owner, Union Pacific Railroad Company, to clean their <br />premises. <br />Lack of compliance required the City to seek and obtain <br />Inspection and Abatement warrants from the Orange County. <br />3 <br />
