6.1.1 Required Insurance Coverage. Consultant shall secure and maintain the <br />following insurance coverage: <br />(a) Workers' Compensation Insurance as required by California statutes for the <br />protection of its employees during the progress of the performance of <br />Services hereunder; <br />(b) Comprehensive General Liability Insurance or Commercial General <br />Liability Insurance, including coverage for Premises and Operations, <br />Contractual Liability, Personal Injury Liability, Products/Completed <br />Operations Liability, and Independent Contractor's Liability, in an amount <br />of not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence, <br />combined single limit, written on an occurrence basis; <br />(c) Comprehensive Automobile Liability coverage, including - as applicable - <br />owned, non -owned and hired autos, in an amount of not loss than One <br />Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence, combined single limit, <br />written on an occurrence basis. If consultant owns no vehicles, this <br />requirement may be satisfied by a non -owned auto endorsement to the <br />general liability policy described above. If Consultant or Consultant's <br />employees will use their personal automobiles in any way in performing <br />Services, Consultant shall provide evidence of personal automobile liability <br />coverage for each such person upon request; and <br />(d) When the law establishes a professional standard of care for the <br />Consultant's Services, Professional Liability Insurance coverage in an <br />amount of not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00). Consultant <br />shall maintain such coverage for at least one (1) year after the termination <br />of this Agreement. <br />The Director, with the consent of the City's Risk Manager, is hereby authorized to waive <br />or reduce the requirements set forth above in the event the Director determines that such waiver or <br />reduction is in City's best interest. <br />6,1.2 Required Clauses in Policies. Each policy of general liability insurance <br />required by this Agreement shall contain the following clauses: <br />"This insurance shall not be canceled, or allowed to lapse without at <br />least ten (10) days' prior written notice to the City Clerk of the City <br />of Anaheim, 200 S, Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, CA 92805. " <br />"It is agreed that any insurance maintained by the Consultant <br />pursuant to this Agreement shall be primary to, and not contribute <br />with any insurance or self-insurance maintained by the City of <br />Anabeim." <br />
