The first column (1) of HCM/LOS <br />values in Table 12-2 presents a summary of existing traffic conditions. The second column (2) <br />presents existing plus project traffic conditions. The third column (3) indicates whether the traffic <br />associated with the Project will have an impact based on the LOS standards defined in this report. <br />The fourth column (4) presents the resultant level of service with the inclusion of recommended <br />traffic improvements, where needed, to achieve an acceptable level of service. <br />12.2.1 Existing Traffic Conditions <br />Review of column (1) of Table 12-2 indicates that all two (2) state-controlled study intersections <br />currently operate an acceptable LOS C or better during the AM and PM peak hours. <br />12.2.2 Existing Plus Project Traffic Conditions <br />Review of columns (2) and (3) of Table 12-2 indicates that traffic associated with the proposed <br />Project will not significantly impact any of the two (2) state-controlled study intersections, when <br />compared to the LOS standards and significant impact criteria specified in this report. <br />Appendix E presents the Caltrans level of service calculation worksheets for the two (2) state- <br />controlled study intersections. <br />3-114
