Based on the bid analysis and a <br />contractor's reference check, staff recommends awarding the construction contract to Rockforce <br />Construction, LLC, in the amount bid (Exhibit 3). <br />Construction Engineering Services <br />Currently, the Construction Services department is assisting with the construction management <br />for the Orange County Streetcar project and providing field inspections, as well as ongoing <br />coordination with other capital improvement projects. Therefore, the Construction Services <br />department will utilize a consultant to oversee the San Lorenzo Sewer Lift Station project. The <br />Public Works Agency issued a request for proposals (RFP) on the City's Website and notified <br />qualified consulting firms to provide Construction Engineering Services for this project.
