His heavy <br />construction experience and knowledge of methods and equipment have <br />facilitated an expertise in concrete and steel structures, various types of form <br />work, bridge construction, controlled blasting, pre -stress, earth work, roadway <br />improvements, rock bolting, reinforcing steel, tunneling, metal decking, <br />architecturallinterior finish. As an inspector for Butior, Mr. Crawford works <br />primarily on water capital improvement projects, including water and <br />wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs. His <br />inspection duties typically include utility/agency coordination, submittals, RFI <br />and field memo responses, interpretation of drawings and general <br />correspondence with design engineer. His background includes 18 years of <br />union carpentry. <br />Mr. Crawford provides both pipeline encasement construction and pipeline <br />inspection experience to water projects. Pipeline work has Involved piping for <br />filtration plants, domestic water lines and reservoirs. Pipe material has <br />included CML&C and ductile iron Experience has also included flow measure <br />and flow metering for 144" and 66" lines, and tunneling. <br />Project Experience <br />Lead Inspector, Groundwater Reliability Improvement Project (GRIP) <br />Advanced Water Treatment Facility Project; Water Replenishment <br />District of Southern California (Value: $100 million) —Mr. Crawford is <br />providing field inspection services as a part of GHD's Owner's Agent/Owner's <br />Engineer team for the GRIP Advanced Water Treatment Facility Project. As a <br />part of the GRIP Program, an advanced water treatment facility is being <br />constructed to purify 10,000 acre feet (3,25 billion gallons) of tertiary treated <br />(recycled) water annually. The GRIP AWTF is being built on a 5.2 acre <br />property in the City of Pico Rivera, adjacent to the San Gabriel River. The <br />GRIP AWTF will include the following treatment processes: automatic <br />strainer; microfiltration (Ml and reverse osmosis (RO) followed by ultraviolet <br />advanced oxidation (UVAO); cartridge filtration; decarbonation; and pH <br />adjustment(corrosivity stabilization. <br />Lead Inspector, Chino Creek Well Field Equipping -Wells 1-11 1-17, and I- <br />18; Chino, CA; Chino Basin Desalter Authority (Completion: 2013; <br />Value: $1.5 million) —Provided inspection services for the Equipping of <br />Chino Creek Well Field Wells 1-16, 1-17 & 1-18 project. The groundwater wells <br />were equipped as part of the CDA Phase 3 Expansion Project. In addition to <br />well equipping, the project Included the installation of 625 LF of 8" diameter <br />HDPE corrugated storm drain pipe and the grading and paving of the well <br />sites. Coordination with other projects was required, including connection of <br />well discharge lines to the Chino Creek Well Field Raw Water Pipeline. The <br />project also involved coordination with the City of Chino to secure the <br />required permits. <br />20A-56 <br />
