For employees <br />whose alternating regular day on will be on December 18 who <br />would otherwise be scheduled off on Friday December 25, they <br />will receive nine (9) floating holiday hours for Christmas Day 2020 <br />Friday, January 1, 2021 (New Year's Day). For employees whose <br />alternating regular day on is on December 18, 2020 who would <br />otherwise be scheduled to work on January 1, 2021, the New <br />Year's Holiday is on January 1, 2021. For employees whose <br />alternating regular day off will be on December 18, 2020 who <br />would otherwise be scheduled off on Friday January 1, 2021, <br />they will receive nine (9) floating holiday hours for New Year's <br />Day 2020 <br />On each of the holiday closure days for 2020, (December 28, 29, <br />30 and 31, 2020) employees may use any of the following <br />accrued leaves (if employees have such leaves): vacation, <br />compensatory time off, or holiday leave. Employees may also <br />choose to be off on any or all of these days on a leave without <br />pay. <br />3. 2021: <br />The closure shall run from Friday, December 24, 2021 through <br />Friday, December 31, 2021. The City shall re -open and <br />employees report back to work as scheduled on Monday, <br />January 3, 2022. <br />Employees shall observe the three (3) City paid holidays <br />provided in Section 9.1 on: <br />• Friday, December 24, 2021 (Last work day before Christmas <br />Day). For employees whose alternating regular day off is on <br />December 17, 2021, who would otherwise be scheduled to work <br />on December 24, 2021, the Christmas Eve Holiday is on <br />December 24, 2021.
