The ad hoc <br />mmittee's direction Included a public places count <br />with sampling methodology. This methodology was <br />also used for the 2013 and 2015 PIT counts. During <br />the 2017 PIT count, 86 additional maps were counted <br />and surveyed for a total of 270 maps in comparison <br />to 184 maps In the 2015 PIT count. Reductions in <br />transitional shelter beds is reflective of national <br />UD funding priorities. Increase in emergency shelter <br />is a result of The Courtyard, a County investment. <br />eaocation of resources to permanent housing are not <br />reflected in the count results. <br />
