IMPROVEMENTS TO PROPERTY -INSTALLATION OF SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS <br />Lessor agrees to purchase a total of 7 surveillance cameras and necessary equipment <br />and software that will be installed on the PROPERTY by City of Santa Ana personnel <br />upon signing of the lease. The total cost of the cameras and necessary equipment and <br />software that Lessor will pay the vendor is $11,967.00. Lessee agrees it will reimburse <br />Lessor for the total cost of the cameras and necessary equipment by way of a one time <br />payment within thirty (30) days of signing the lease and receipt of invoice showing <br />purchase and delivery of equipment. Lessor agrees at the end of the lease period, <br />Lessee shall have the right to remove the cameras and equipment. Lessee will take all <br />steps necessary to remove the cameras and equipment from the property within thirty <br />(30) days of vacating the premises. <br />2. Confidentiality <br />Due to the sensitive nature of law enforcement activities in connection with the property, <br />Lessor understands and agrees to maintain confidentiality of any information gained or <br />learned about the use of the property. Notwithstanding this provision, Lessor and Lessee <br />understand the lease itself is a public record. <br />3. Access to Property <br />Lessor understands and agrees that due to the sensitive nature of law enforcement <br />activities in connection with the use of the property, upon taking possession of the <br />property, Lessee will rekey the locks to the property and only Lessee will have access to <br />the property. <br />4. Alarm System <br />Lessor understands and agrees that within two (2) days of taking possession of the <br />property, Lessor will transfer the account for the alarm system to Lessee who will be <br />responsible for the monthly payments in connection with the alarm system.
