APPROVE SECOND AMENDMENT TO COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />SANTA ANA-DELHI CHANNEL DIVERSION PROJECT AUTHORIZING <br />REIMBURSEMENT OF UP TO $148,500 TO THE CITY OF COSTA MESA (PROJECT <br />NO. 16-6467) {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1 G) — Public Works Agency <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute a Second Amendment to the <br />Cooperative Agreement with the City of Costa Mesa for the Santa Ana -Delhi <br />Channel Diversion Project, authorizing reimbursement of up to $148,500 to the <br />City of Costa Mesa for costs associated with constructing an underground <br />segment of the Santa Ana -Delhi Channel Diversion Project, located on Bristol <br />Street from Baker Street to Newport Boulevard, subject to non -substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney (Agreement No. A- <br />2019-xxx). <br />This Consent Item - Agreement No. A-2019-154 was approved. <br />25F. APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH SINGLE POINT <br />ALLIANCE, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000 TO PROVIDE A CENTRAL STORES <br />CONSIGNMENT INVENTORY PROGRAM (SPECIFICATION NO. 11-059) <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1, C) — Public Works Agency <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement with Single Point <br />Alliance, Inc., for a consignment inventory program in the amount of $250,000, for <br />a new total annual amount not to exceed $917,500, and extend the term by four <br />months for a new agreement expiration date of January 31, 2020, subject to non - <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney (Agreement <br />No. A-2019-xxx). <br />This Consent Item - Agreement No. A-2019-155 was approved. <br />LAND USE MATTERS <br />MISCELLANEOUS - LAND USE <br />39A. APPROVE NAMING OF THE NEW PARK AT 720 EAST SIXTH STREET <br />"MARIPOSA PARK" {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 4)— Planning and Building Agency and <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency Planning Commission approved <br />recommended action on August 12, 2019 by a vote of 6-0. Board of Recreation <br />and Parks recommended the Planning Commission name park "Parque Mariposa" on <br />June 26, 2019 by a vote of 4-0 (Aleman, Sanchez and Velarde-Garcia absent). <br />MOTION: Approve naming of the park at 720 East Sixth Street "Mariposa Park". <br />Councilmember Penaloza motioned to approve, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Villegas. <br />DRAFT CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 10 September 3, 2019 <br />10A-10 <br />
