his or her Retirement Health Savings (RHS) account upon the effective <br />date of separation, not to exceed a maximum limit of 640 hours. <br />b. After fifteen (15) years, but less than 20 years of service, the employee <br />shall be entitled to 50% of unused sick leave benefits credited to his or <br />her Retirement Health Savings (RHS) account upon the effective date of <br />separation, not to exceed a maximum limit of 800 hours. <br />c. After twenty (20) years, but less than 25 years of service, the employee <br />shall be entitled to 66.67% of amused sick leave benefits credited to his or <br />her Retirement Health Savings (RHS) account upon the effective date of <br />separation, not to exceed a maximum limit of 1,067 hours. <br />d. After twenty-five (25) years of service or more, the employee shall be <br />entitled to 100% of the amount of unused sick leave benefits credited to <br />his or her Retirement Health Savings (RHS) account upon the effective <br />date of separation, not to exceed a maximum limit of 1,600 hours. <br />2. A lump sum payment shall be made to the beneficiaries of any eligible <br />employee whose death occurs while such employee is an active employee of the City, <br />such payment to be in the amount of two-thirds (2/3) of the total sick leave benefit <br />credited to the employee's account at the time of his or her death, and at the rate of <br />pay effective on the date of the death. <br />11.2 Bereavement Leave. An employee shall be granted up to three (3) days leave without loss of <br />pay in case of death of a member of the employee's immediate family. For purposes of this <br />Section only, a "day" shall be defined as the number of hours of work that an employee is <br />required to work according to his/her specific workday schedule. Such leave is designated as <br />bereavement leave. "Immediate family" as used in this section is limited to: <br />A. Any relative by blood or marriage who is a member of the employee's household; <br />B. A parent, parent -in-law, spouse, child, brother, sister, grandparent or grandchild of <br />the employee, regardless of residence; <br />C. Any other relative of the employee by blood or marriage where it can be established <br />by the employee that as a result of such relative's death, the employee's presence is <br />required. <br />11.3 Military Leave. <br />A.
