Meta Housing Corporation and City of Santa Ana <br />16-AHSC-11200, Amd.1 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />EXHIBIT A-5 <br />SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE <br />SCOPE OF WORt( <br />The Scope of Work ("Work") for this Agreement for Sustainable Transportation Infrastructure ("STI") <br />shall consist of the following: <br />The STI project identified in the Application which is to be developed and constructed by the <br />Recipient results in the enhancement of any of the following: <br />Public Transit Access <br />Pedestrian Network <br />Bicycle Network* <br />*meeting specified AHSC Program transit requirements <br />Additionally the STI project identified in the Application which is to be developed and constructed by <br />the Recipient may include Energy Efficiency, Low Impact Design, Renewable Energy or Urban <br />Greening improvements. <br />Conversion of Bush Street into a pedestrian and bike enhanced street, between 17th Street and 1st <br />Street.- This STI will direct pedestrians and cyclists one block east to Bush Street, which will receive <br />bike lane striping, four roundabouts to ease congestion, and other traffic calming surface <br />Improvements. Installation of a Bicycle Boulevard treatment along Bush Street. Treatment includes <br />the installation of neighborhood traffic circles and mini -roundabouts at eight (8) intersections along <br />the corridor; as well as signage and roadway markings. All improvements will be constructed in the <br />Public Right of Way. . <br />The Recipient is responsible for and shall ensure the completion of the STI In accordance with the <br />criteria set forth above. The Department reserves the right to review and approve all Work to be <br />performed by the Recipient in relation to this Agreement. Any substantial revision to the Work shall <br />be submitted in writing for review and approval by the Department and shall require an amendment <br />to this Agreement. <br />The Department, the Recipient and other parties as required by the Department shall enter into a <br />Disbursement Agreement governing among other things the disbursement of Program funds as <br />more particularly described in Exhibit B hereto. <br />AHSC - Round II - Grant <br />NOFA Date: 01/29/16 <br />Approved Date: 03/16/17 <br />Prep.
