All improvements will be constructed in the Public Right of Way <br />C. Section 107(o) — Water. Energy and Greening <br />The Recipients Application was evaluated for rating points based on how the <br />proposed Project will incorporate infrastructure components of building standards <br />that contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through carbon <br />sequestration, energy efficiency, or incorporation of renewable energy sources, as <br />well as address other community benefits supporting public health, environmental, <br />and economic factors. Based on the points awarded to its Application, Recipient will <br />ensure the following Water, Energy and Greening improvement occur:. <br />- Use of CaiGreen Residential as a threshold/minimum landscape compliance <br />standard. <br />- Plant Resource Efficient Landscapes with a) No Invasive Species Listed by Cal - <br />[PC, b) Plants chosen and located to grow to natural size, Drought tolerant, <br />California Native, Mediterranean Species or Other Appropriate species, and turf <br />on less than 10% of the landscaped area. <br />- Meet or exceed California's Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance as <br />mandated In AB1881. <br />- Regarding Title 24, incorporate HERS II modeling showing that the Project is <br />designed to exceed baseline 2013 California Energy Code (Title 24, Part 6) <br />compliance by 30%, which will be certified by CABEC Certified Energy Analyst. <br />- Install EnergyStar dishwashers and refrigerators throughout. <br />- Install high efficacy LED lighting throughout. <br />D. Section 107(i) — Anti -Displacement Strategies and Workforce Training Strategies <br />The Recipient's Application was evaluated for rating points based on the existence of <br />displacement risks, for both low-income residents and businesses of the Project Area <br />and community, if applicable. Recipient's Application was also evaluated for rating <br />points based on the existence of policies or programs to promote the recruitment, <br />training, and/or hiring of disadvantaged populations with barriers to employment. <br />Based on the points awarded to its Application, Recipient shall ensure the following <br />Anti -Displacement Strategies and Workforce Training Strategies are in effect: <br />1. Because It relocated 10 businesses (all paying market -rate rents), SAAC's <br />relocation plan conformed with the applicable provisions of the Uniform <br />Relocation Act (46 U.S.C. § 4600 at seq.), Its implementing regulations (49 <br />C.F.R. Part 24), the California Relocation Assistance Law, California Government <br />Code Section 7260 at seq. (CRAL) and the California Relocation Assistance and <br />Real Property Acquisition Guidelines, Title 25, California Code of Regulations, <br />Chapter 6, Section 6000 at seq.
