The City has found this product to be very effective in the prevention of <br />building intruders and is an asset to the Planning and Building Agency when Code Enforcement <br />red -tags a building. The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency also uses the service <br />to secure the property located at 625 South Cypress Avenue. The extended use of this service will <br />allow the City appropriate time to divest of this property. Therefore, the City wishes to continue the <br />service by amending the agreement to increase the total amount by $55,000, extending the term to <br />December 4, 2020 and adding a one-year renewal option. The total agreement amount is <br />$170,000 for a total of four years, with all the renewal periods. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item allows the City to meet Goal #5 — Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability, Objective #4 (Support neighborhood vitality and livability). <br />
