Chapter 2 Definitions is adopted in its entirety with the following amendment: <br />Section 202 General Definitions is hereby revised by adding "OCFA," sky <br />' a and "Spark Arrester" as follows: <br />202 General Definitions <br />OCFA- Orange County Fire Authority, fire authority having jurisdiction. <br />Wall N*W <br />SPARK ARRESTER- A listed device constructed of noncombustible material <br />specifically for the purpose of meeting one of the following conditions: <br />Removing and retaining carbon and other flammable particles/debris <br />from the exhaust flow of an internal combustion engine in accordance <br />with California Vehicle Code Section 38366. <br />Fireplaces that burn solid fuel in accordance with California Building <br />Code Chapter 28. <br />SECTION 18: Section 14-22 is hereby amended as follows: <br />Sec. 14-22. - General requirements (Chapter 3). <br />Chapter 3 General Requirements. Adopt Chapter 3 in its entirety, with the exception <br />of Sections 308.1.4, 311.5 through 311.5.5, 318, and 319, and with the following <br />amendments: <br />(a) Section 0, <br />.1.2 Vegetation. Type, arneuRt, 9F aFraRgernent of weeds, grass, Vines <br />OGGUpant of the pmn.s in accordance with OCFA Guideline G 05 WegetatieR <br />._ <br />Weeds, arass. vines or other arowth that is capable of beina ianited and <br />endangering property, shall be cut down and removed by the owner or occupant of <br />the premises. Vegetation clearance requirement in urban-wildland interface areas <br />shall be in accordance with Chapter 49. Type, amount, arrangement, and <br />maintenance of vegetation in a fuel modification area, interior slope, or similarly <br />hazardous area shall be in accordance with OCFA Guideline C-05 "Vegetation <br />Manaaement Guideline —Technical Desian for New Construction.
