City of Santa Ana
Att: City Clerk
Reference: Increase in Water and Sanitation
109 OCT 29 I'M 4:9.7
CITY OF SANTA ANA
CLERK OF COUNCIL
October 21, 2019
I stronger oppose the proposed increases for water and sanitation. Why such a massive
increase? As a tax paying citizen, I find it insulting that the City of Santa Ana wants to increase
these utilities, while already having the highest sales tax in Orange County. I should be
responsible for poor planning.
How much does the city spend on encouraging homeless conditions in the city or protection
those who are in the United States illegally?
Why should I (as a citizen) have to continuingly have to pay out and sacrifice? I just read where
the City is making a substantial profit on recycling and wants me to continue to recycle to help
the City make money and all you ever want to do is increase the costs of living.
Focus on getting rid of wasteful programs and take care of those who make Santa a respected
community with respectful tax payers which pays your salaries along the way.
Ron Heb
S nta Ana, 2-7 q
