Quarterly Report for Housing Choice Voucher Program <br />December 3, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br />Chart 1 illustrates the percentage of applicants on <br />the 2015 HCV Waiting List who live or work in Santa Ana. <br />These applicants are given a preference on the Waiting <br />List together with U.S. Military Veterans. <br />Chart 2 illustrates the number of applicants by total <br />household size. The majority of applicants on the <br />Waiting List consist of only one or two household <br />members. <br />Over half of all applicants (1,545 of the 2,905 <br />applicants or 54%) have one or two member <br />households and would qualify for a one -bedroom <br />voucher.
