Director of Human. Resources will confirm receipt of the request in writing to the <br />employee. Within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt of the request, the Executive <br />Director of Human Resources will notify the employee and Department I-Iead of <br />the decision as to whether a study will be conducted. If the Executive Director of <br />Human Resources determines that a study is appropriate, the Executive Director of <br />Human Resources will so notify the employee and the Department Head in writing <br />and will provide the employee and Department Head with an approximate start date <br />for the study. <br />D. Determinations of the Department Head and the Executive Director of Human <br />Resources are not final. An appeal to the City Manager or his/her representative <br />shall be presented within fifteen (15) working days of the notification of the <br />findings by the Executive Director of Human Resources. The City Manager's <br />decision is final. <br />This process is not subject to the grievance provisions of this MOU. <br />E. All studies and study findings will require City Manager approval before <br />proceeding. <br />F.
