Grand Avenue <br />Building B, 3r1 Floor, <br />Santa Ana CA 92705 <br />Re: Prison to Employment Initiative Grant <br />eaavaaa__eaeaeeaeaaaeeeaeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa_�aaaaaaaa:asaaaaeaa-__-.___`___"' <br />The Orange County Sheriffs Department (OCSD) Is committed to working with the Orange County Regional Planning Unit <br />(RPU), to include the Anaheim Workforce Development Board,Orange. County Development Board, Santa Ana Workforce <br />Development Board, and other grant partners to offer in -kind services in conjunction with the Prison to Employment <br />Initiative. <br />As a partner for this grant, the OCSD will provide the following on an In -kind basis: <br />1. dedicated and secure office space for Career Planners including: desks, phone connections, access to <br />classrooms, and access to private consultation rooms; <br />2. designated Inmate Re-entry staff who will provide specialized services such as individual assessments, pre- <br />release planning classes and cognitive behavioral therapy classes. <br />3. coordination between Inmate Re-entry staff and Career Planners for seamless service delivery and referrals; <br />4. security assessment and safety protocols/training for Career Planners; <br />S. secure access to Career Planners for the buildings, parking, and file storage; and <br />6. the assessment and selection of inmate candidates for the project based on release dates, risk factors, and need <br />who will then be referred to the Career Planners for eligibility and enrollment into the program. <br />These services are valued at approximately $70,000 per year. <br />The OCSO and the RPU have agreed upon the following plan for service delivery under this grant:. <br />Ulm <br />Infegrty without compromise7Serviceobnvesoift Pmfamfonot.,mh the performonce of duty I VlWance.insofeguardng our community <br />
