Exhibit 7 <br />Appendix <br />ATTACHMENT <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br />RFP NO.: 19-092 <br />Description of Work <br />ROUTINE MAINTENANCE <br />The Contractor shall assign the appropriate number of staff at the appropriate skill level and rank <br />in their organization, to continuously improve the quality of Santa Ana Parks and Facilities. The <br />Contractor understands and agrees by entering into the agreement with the City of Santa Ana Park <br />Services Director's Representative shall be the sole source of interpreting the specifications and <br />the quality of work specified herein in writing and by the Santa Ana Park Services Quality <br />Maintenance Standards PowerPoint herewith. Should the Contractor fail to provide the City with <br />the level of service specified, the Director's Representative shall have the authority to direct the <br />Contractor to add additional staff, equipment or both to achieve the maintenance standards <br />specified herein. <br />Each morning at the start of the workday the Contractor's Supervisor or their designated <br />representative shall inspect each site and respond immediately to any malfunctions, vandalism, <br />hazardous conditions or otherwise abnormal conditions that are inconsistent with the quality <br />standards specified herein or threaten people and/or property by reporting the condition <br />immediately to the Director's Representative. Failure to inspect each site daily before 9:00am will <br />result in a $300 penalty per site. <br />A contract start-up period of three (3) months shall commence from the first day of the agreement <br />period. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks during this period: 1) shovel -cut all tree <br />rings (see 1.3.6 herein); 2) raise all trees (see 2.4.1.3 herein); and, 3) mulch all areas (see 2.1.1 & <br />2.2.1 herein). <br />The Contractor acknowledges each sites irrigation rotors/heads and lateral irrigation lines may <br />have deficiencies. The City agrees to pay the Contractor for the initial repair of each sites <br />rotors/heads and lateral irrigation lines. Following the initial agreement start-up repairs, the <br />Contractor shall assume responsibility for future repairs (see 9.3 herein). <br />Routine maintenance shall include but not be limited to the following services performed at the <br />Work Sites and per the City of Santa Ana Park Services Quality Maintenance Standards (reference <br />PowerPoint). <br />Turf Care and Services <br />The Contractor shall establish a "Turf Management Crew" dedicated to providing turf <br />management, improvement and maintenance services.
