Exhibit 7 <br />Appendix <br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT (IPM) & PEST CONTROL SERVICES <br />RFP NO.: 19-094 <br />Description of Work <br />ROUTINE MAINTENANCE <br />The City of Santa Ana, Park Services Division embraces and promotes sustainable site design and <br />management principles and best management practices where feasible. The use of Integrated Pest <br />Management (IPM) and organic pesticides, in lieu of traditional synthetic pesticides, are encouraged and, <br />in cases listed herein, required as a part of this agreement. The Contractor, as part of our site management <br />subject expert, shall play an important role toward recommending, using and collecting data concerning <br />the use of IPM and organic pesticide products as specified herein. <br />The Contractor shall assign the appropriate number of staff at the appropriate skill level and rank in their <br />organization, to continuously improve the quality of Santa Ana Parks and Facilities. The Contractor <br />understands and agrees by entering into the agreement with the City of Santa Ana Park Services Director's <br />Representative shall be the sole source of interpreting the specifications and the quality of work specified <br />herein in writing and by the Santa Ana Park Services Quality Maintenance Standards PowerPoint <br />herewith. Should the Contractor fail to provide the City with the level of service specified, the Director's <br />Representative shall have the authority to direct the Contractor to add additional staff, equipment or both <br />to achieve the maintenance standards specified herein. <br />Each week the Contractor's Supervisor or their designated representative shall inspect each site and <br />respond to IPM and pest control issues. The Contractor shall also take a time/date stamped photographs <br />documenting site inspections and noting any issues relating to but not limited to safety, maintenance, <br />malfunctions, vandalism, hazardous conditions or otherwise abnormal conditions that are inconsistent <br />with the quality standards specified herein or threaten people and/or property by reporting the condition <br />immediately to the Director's Representative. Failure to inspect each site before 9:00am will result in a <br />$300 penalty per site. <br />Routine maintenance shall include, but, not be limited to the following services performed at the Work <br />Sites and per the City of Santa Ana Park Services Quality Maintenance Standards (reference PowerPoint). <br />1.0 Certification of Applicators <br />1.1 All IPM and agricultural pest control employee -applicators shall possess and maintain a <br />state licensed/certified agricultural pest control Qualified Applicators License (QAL) or a <br />Qualified Applicators Certificate (QAC).
