Exhibit 7 <br />information, he/she shall submit to the Contractor the direction in writing. <br />7.2.4 The Contractor's annual cost -benefit analysis report shall include an Executive <br />Summary, a narrative describing the general findings based upon the data collected <br />and recommendations for the City's consideration (see Exhibit _ Cost -Benefit <br />Analysis Template). <br />8.0 Specialized Maintenance <br />8.1 Santa Ana Zoo Chemical Use - All pesticides and fertilizers must be approved as <br />safe for the animals by the Zoo Manager or Zoo Veterinarian prior to their <br />application at the Zoo. The Zoo Manager or their representative shall be informed <br />prior to any application of chemicals/fertilizers on zoo property. <br />Contractor Responsibilities: <br />1.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />1.1 Definitions- <br />1.1.1 "Director's Representative" shall mean the Executive Director of Parks, Recreation <br />and Community Services designated representative(s). <br />1.1.2 "SAPRF" shall mean Santa Ana Park and Recreation Facilities. <br />1.1.3 "Weed" shall mean any undesirable or misplaced plant. <br />1.1.4 "Hardscape" shall mean any resilient surface other than turf or planting beds, such <br />as but not limited to curbs, gutters, sidewalks, decomposed pathways, asphalt <br />pavement, mow strips, bollards, signs, grandstands, benches, picnic tables, drinking <br />fountains, BBQ's, fencing, railing, tire stops, etc. <br />1.1.5 "Integrated Pest Management" (IPM) shall mean any biological live pest control <br />solution. <br />1.1.6 "Organic" shall mean any non -synthetic product pest control solution. <br />1.1.7 "Synthetic" shall mean any non-IPM or organic pest control solution. <br />1.2 Scheduling of Work -The Contractor shall provide IPM/organic/synthetic pest control <br />maintenance between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The <br />schedule may be modified only with the Director's Representative consent. <br />Landscape/grounds maintenance that generates excess noise cannot begin before 8:00 a.m. <br />The Contractor shall establish schedules of "routine work" to be followed in the <br />performance of this contract. In addition to the Contractor submitting the Monthly Park <br />Maintenance Inspector's Inspection Schedule and other required monthly reports, the <br />Contractor shall submit weekly schedules listing the work tasks, crew performing the task, <br />and the projected hours to complete the task. The schedules shall be emailed to Director's <br />Representative by Thursday at 4:OOpm for the upcoming week. Any changes in scheduling <br />shall be reported in writing 48 hours before the proposed change and must be approved by <br />the Director's Representative. The schedule shall include days of the week and what <br />person/crew will be performing specific work in accordance with the specification. <br />1.3 Local Office - The Contractor shall maintain a physical office within the 714 area code <br />(local office). The local office shall be open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />with a company representative present at all times.
