Main Street <br />City: Santa Ana County: Orange <br />t+I <br />Project Description: The project will demolish the existing offlee building and develop A 256-unit multl-family <br />residential development and parking on the site. The project Includes a let line adjustment to create two separate <br />tots; one parcel for residential use and one parcel for shared parking with the Discovery Cube, The residential lot will <br />be approximately 4.4 acres In size and the shared parking lot parcel will be approximately 1 A acres and contain 180 <br />parkitlg spaces, <br />The 206 multi -family units will be In structures between 2 and 4 stories in height, Residential parking will be In a <br />surface parking lot and a parking structure that will have one level of underground parking and 5levels above ground <br />parking, Approximately 26,947-squaro feet of common open space will be provided adjacent to the residential <br />buildings. The residences vyill be at a density of 68 dwelling units per acre. The project Includes approximately <br />444,534 square feet of development (277,281 square feet of residential building and 107,263 square feet of parking <br />structure and common open spec$ structures). The maximum floor area mile will be 1,43. The project w411 retain the <br />healthy trees along the east property line and the trees along the southern property lines. <br />The project Includes an elongated four-way intersection at Main Street and Santiago Parldwalkie Way. This will <br />result in an off -set Intersection design, alterations to the northbound left -turn pocket for the Discovery Gabe, and <br />modifications to the traffic flow on Main Street. Modifications will be made to the existing raised center medlan on <br />Main Street (from Edgewood Road to Santiago Park/Walkle Way) to provide turn pockets of approximately 200 feet, <br />which Is more than the existing approximately 150-foot-long turn pockets. <br />On November 19, 2019, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana (Lead Agency) has: <br />• Adopted a resolution certifying Final Environmental impact Report No, 2010-01 (SOH No. 2018021031), <br />adopting findings of fact pursuant to the California Envlronriontal Quality Act, adopting a Statement of <br />Overdoing Considerations, and adopting the Mitigation Monttoring and Reporting Program; <br />+ Conducted first reading of an ordinance approving Development Agreement No. 2018.0f, as amended; <br />• Adopted a resolution approving General Plan Amendment No, 2018-06: and <br />• Conducted first reading of an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 2010.10 for Spooiflc <br />Development No. 93, <br />SANTAANA CITY COUNCIL <br />Miguel A.
