EXPERIENCE
Shell Beach Road Streetscape, City of Pismo Beach,
Pismo Beach, CA. Project Surveyor responsible for
providing survey services in support of design of
a "total street" reconstruction of 18 blocks of Shell
Beach Road. The project entails incorporating a new
Class 1 bikeway along an existing Caltrans right-of-
way,In addition, the project aims to replace aging
utilities.The projectwill incorporate newway-finding
and streetscape enhancements including pavement
enhancements at crosswalks and intersections, full
ADA compliance, streetfurdlture and landscape
improvements, incorporating LID techniques.
Riverside Dr, near Zoo Dr. Bridge over LA River,
City of Los Angeles DOE, Los Angeles, CA. Project
Surveyor responsible for field surveys and topographic
mapping. The goal of the project was to correct existing
geometrical design deficiencies, address seismic
vulnerabilities, improve pedestrian and bicycle travel,
and preserve the historic character of the bridge. The
project also included the addition of:a Class I bicycle
undercrossing to link eastern and western segrt'rents
of the lA River bike trail. Tetra Tech provided final
environmental documentation and processing;
hydraulic analysis, 100%PS&E, and design support
during right-of-way and construction phases.
San Francisco ADA Ramps, Pacific Gas and Electric
(PG&E), San Francisco, CA. Project Managerand
Engineer of Record responsible for overseeing [arid
surveying services in support of ongoing work that
PG&E is undertaking where they intend to repair and
replace all of the existing medium pressure natural
gas infrastructure. The City has required that PG&E
upgradethe intersections that are affected by the
natural gas line construction work to insure they are
ADA compliant. Tetra Tech has performed right-of-way
research, monument research, topographic survey
and construction survey for a total of 284 ramps on 204
different corners at 70ntersections.
Bonita School Road Bridge Replacement Survey,
Santa Barbara County Public Works, Santa Maria,
CA. Survey Manager, Mr. Helt was responsible for
overseeing control aerial, and topographic survey
work forthe replacement of the Bonita School Road
Bridge. TetraJech set 22 ground control targets, and
tied those points to the Santa Maria valley Control
Network. Analytical aerotriangulation and stereo
compilation was used for density control and to create
both planimetric and terrain data. The terrain data was
then used to generate 1-foot contours, Additionally,
Tetra Tech performed a ground survey to supplement
the aerial acquired topography, in orderto collect
additional data of features not readily visiblefrom the
air. The Digital Terrain Model of the ground and aerial
surveys were combined and anAutoCAD Civil3D file
containing all data was produced.
Caruthers Park Stormwater and Urban Runoff
Capture Project, City of Bellflower, Bellflower, CA.
Survey Manager.
