DRAFT MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />w SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />January 21, 2020 <br />CLOSED SESSION MEETING <br />CLOSED SESSION MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL - JANUARY 21, 202, 5:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER - Mayor PULIDO <br />Mayor Pro Tern Villegas called the closed session meeting at 5:15 p.m. Councilmember <br />Bacerra and Councilmember Iglesias joined the closed session at 5:16 p.m. Mayor <br />Pulido joined the 5:25 p.m. <br />COUNCILMEMBERS Present: <br />Mayor Pulido <br />Mayor Pro Tern Villegas <br />Councilmember Bacerra <br />Councilmember Iglesias <br />Councilmember Penaloza <br />Councilmember Sarmiento <br />Councilmember Solorio <br />STAFF Present: <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS - Members of the public may address the City Council on items <br />on the Closed Session Agenda. <br />Tim Johnson spoke regarding transporting inadvertently to Armory, two bus stops, read <br />email. Councilmembers Iglesias and Bacerra joined the meeting at 5:17 p.m. <br />Mayor Pulido recessed the meeting to room 147 at 5:19 p.m. to discuss Closed Session <br />Items 1-3 as listed on the agenda: <br />CLOSED SESSION ITEMS - The Brown Act permits legislative bodies to discuss <br />certain matters without members of the public present. The City Council finds, based on <br />advice from the City Attorney, that discussion in open session of the following matters <br />will prejudice the position of the City in existing and anticipated litigation: <br />1.
