NOBLE COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $615,550, FOR THE <br />BRISTOL STREET REHABILITATION FROM 17TH STREET TO SANTA CLARA <br />AVENUE PROJECT ESTIMATED PROJECT COST: $769,438 (PROJECT NO. 18- <br />6909) {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1C & 1G} - Public Works Agency <br /> <br />1. Authorize the reallocation of $75,438 in unspent Transportation System <br />Improvement Area F Funds carried over from FY 18 & 19, from Bristol Street <br />Widening from Washington Avenue to 17th Street Project (Project No. 11-6740) <br />to the Bristol Street Rehabilitation from 17th Street to Santa Clara Avenue <br />Project (Project No. 18-6909). <br /> <br />2. Award a contract to R.J. Noble Company, the lowest responsible bidder, in <br />accordance with the base bid in the amount of $615,550, for construction of the <br />Bristol Street Rehabilitation from 17th Street to Santa Clara Avenue Project, for <br />the term beginning upon execution of the contract and ending upon project <br />completion, and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract subject to <br />non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney. <br /> <br />3. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost <br />of $769,438, which includes $615,550 for the construction contract; $92,333 for <br />contract administration, inspection and testing; and a $61,555 project <br />contingency (approximately 10% of the construction contract amount), paid with <br />Measure M2 Local Fairshare and Transportation System Improvement Area F <br />Funds. <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />25A. APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WORKFORCE <br />DEVELOPMENT BOARD FOR THE PRISON TO EMPLOYMENT IMPLEMENTATION <br />DIRECT SERVICES GRANT ($1,306,117) {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 2, 4} - Community <br />Development Agency <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the State of <br />California Workforce Development Board for the Prison to Employment Implementation <br />Direct Services Grant, for a term commencing October 2019 through March 31, 2022, for <br />an amount not to exceed $1,306,117, subject to non-substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney (Agreement No. A-2019-175). <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Villegas motioned to approve the consent calendar items, seconded by <br />Councilmember Solorio. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 10 October 1, 2019 <br /> <br />
