We formally request that hard liquor not be sold at the banquet <br />on the grounds that it is located between two places of worship, a church and a mosque, and <br />can be disruptive to their respective members. Although the banquet aims to install a fence and <br />gate around its perimeter, the adjacent sidewalk and parking lot are open pedestrian areas <br />where people can loiter and disrupt the neighborhood. Selling hard liquor increases the <br />likelihood of drunken behavior and even harassment, especially at night given that we <br />regularly host events for the youth in our community, including the weekends.
