Kuebitz, P.E. <br />Senior Design Engineer <br />Professional Experience <br />DN Tanks, Inc., El Cajon, CA <br />(DYK Incoipm oted merged ivith Nntgun Coiparrtion to joint DN Tiuwks in Deceneber 2010) <br />2017—Present Senior Design Engineer — Responsible for final design calculations and <br />computer -generated drawings for precast, prestressed concrete water and <br />wastewater tanks. Development, management, and maintenance of DN <br />Tanks' design procedures for tank mixing systems and baffle wall systems. <br />Provide technical support to DN Tanks' clients for mixing and baffling <br />systems using both case studies and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). <br />Responsible for the management of three design engineers. <br />2009 — 2017 Branch Manager/Project Manager — Responsible for organizing, directing, <br />and executing DN Tanks' projects in accordance with contract drawings and <br />specifications, DN Tanks final tank drawings, and DN Tanks' Construction <br />and Safety procedures. Direct charge of projects in the areas of quality, <br />safety, cost, and scheduling. Responsible for all submissions to the consulting <br />engineer, including monthly pay requisitions, shop drawing submittals, <br />material specification submittals, etc. Act as a liaison between DN Tanks <br />management and the field personnel, discussing and acting on all aspects of <br />DN Tanks' projects. Attend project management meetings, prepare site layout <br />plan, obtain subcontractors for various portions of the work, monitor quality <br />control and safety through daily communication with the superintendent, and <br />periodic site visits. Act as DN Tanks' representative to the owner and <br />engineer striving to maintain their satisfaction while maintaining DN Tanks' <br />interests. <br />2004-2009 Associate Engineer — Responsible for the design, analysis and project <br />management of prestressed concrete reservoirs. Design and analysis of liquid <br />retaining structures based on the most current editions of the IBC, ACI-350, <br />AWWA-D110. Design reservoir ancillary structures including ladders, stairs, <br />guardrails, pipe brackets and support structures. Perform design compliance <br />inspections for all stages of prestressed concrete tanks including foundations, <br />floor slabs, prestressed and reinforced concrete walls, columns, roof slabs, and <br />roof slab shoring. Acted as the principal design engineer for 21 prestressed <br />concrete tanks at the New Doha International Airport, Qatar. Direct contact <br />with clients to determine their needs and suggest appropriate and cost- <br />effective solutions.
