WO:ILy111c3 <br />Summary of Community Development Block Grant Nonprofit Applications <br />FY 2020-2022 <br />Delhi Center/ALBI <br />School Break Enrichment Program <br />Enrichment Day Camps offered during three school -break periods for 125 children, providing <br />instruction in performing arts, social emotional skill development activities that build resiliency, <br />and parent workshops with take-home family assignments that increase family bonding. <br />Proposed number to be served: 250 <br />Currently Funded: $61,557 CRHC Recommendation: $0 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 2, 2a Funding Request: $125,074 <br />Heritage Museum of Orange County <br />The Borrowing Barn <br />The Borrowing Barn will serve as a tool library, time bank, seed library, and DIY <br />educational/community center for the surrounding area. <br />Proposed number to be served: 200 <br />Currently Funded: $31,320 CRHC Recommendation: $0 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 3, 5c Funding Request: $69,032 <br />Heritage Museum of Orange County <br />Museums Inspiring Change <br />Through the MIC mentorship program, we seek to combat a broader, institutional lack of <br />diversity in the field of museum careers. We will expose SAUSD youth to current industry <br />leaders, potential career paths, and basic museum principles to build their knowledge of and <br />access to relevant opportunities. <br />Proposed number to be served: 140 <br />Currently Funded: N/A CRHC Recommendation: $0 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 2, 2a Funding Request: $60,000 <br />Nati's House Neutral Ground <br />Summer Night Lights <br />Neutral Ground will provide Summer Night Lights for 40 nights during the summer. Parks and <br />recreation centers will be open late so that families can enjoy safe spaces, meet neighbors, <br />find new opportunities and resources, and create relationships with the City and County <br />agencies that serve them. <br />Proposed number to be served: 200 <br />Currently Funded: $60,000 CRHC Recommendation: $0 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 2, 2a Funding Request: $120,000 <br />60A-23 7 <br />
