CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019-38 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3,2} — Case <br />Planner, Jerry Guevara <br /> <br />LOCATION: 542 East Central Avenue located in the Single-Family Residence (R-1) <br />zoning district. <br /> <br />REQUEST: The applicant is requesting approval of Conditional Use Permit No. 2019- <br />38 to allow the construction of a rectory building. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The Planning Commission will consider a <br />determination that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines – New <br />Construction. Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. 2018-24 will be filed for <br />this project. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt a resolution. A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019-38 AS CONDITIONED TO ALLOW THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO-STORY 6,372-SQUARE FOOT RECTORY BUILDING <br />AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 542 EAST CENTRAL AVENUE <br /> <br /> <br />3. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019-44 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3,2 } – Kathy <br />Khang, Case Planner. <br /> <br />LOCATION: 2920 South Kilson Drive located in the Light Industrial (M-1) zoning district. <br /> <br />REQUEST: The applicant is requesting approval of Conditional Use Permit No. 2019- <br />44 to allow the operation of a canine rehabilitation center/kennel. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The Planning Commission will consider a <br />determination that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1 of the CEQA Guidelines – <br />Existing Facilities. Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. 2019-118 will be filed <br />for this project. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: Adopt a resolution.
