1.4 Emergency Response --The Contractor shall have aut emergency "Stand-by" staff person <br />assigned to respond to urgent calls after horns. The Contractor shall have the capability to <br />answer calls immediately and respond to after-hours service within one (1) hour from the <br />time the call is made, <br />1.5 Extra Work or Outside the Scope of Work -Damage or malfunction to site amenities, plant <br />material or irrigation system equipment by any of the following may be considered outside <br />the scope of this Agreement unless otherwise specified herein: <br />-Acts of God <br />-Civil Disorder <br />-Vehicle Collision (excluding Contractor and its employees and subs) <br />-Excavation or Re -surfacing of the Street <br />-Power Failures <br />-Underground Wiring Damage <br />-Extra Work Requested by the Director's Representative <br />Contractor will not be considered responsible for replacement. Contractor must prove to <br />the satisfaction of Director's Representative that one of the above occurred in order to be <br />excused from performing under the Agreement, <br />Extra Work or Outside the Scope of Work -Damage (a.k.a. Extra Work) shall be <br />compensated: <br />i Tabor- 25% above prevailing wage <br />ii Materials- 15% above retail contractors cost <br />ii Equip Rent-15% above contractor's cost <br />All Extra Work or Outside the Scope of Work -Damage work shall be performed by <br />Contractor's staff other than the routine maintenance staff assigned to the contract. Any <br />staff routine maintenance Contractor's staff discovered performing Scope of Work - <br />Damage work shall not be charged as Extra Work, <br />2.0 UNIFORMS AND VEIRCTES IDENTIFICATION <br />2.1 The Contractor shall provide to all field personnel a standard uniform including but not <br />limited to uniform company hats, collared work shirts, pants, jackets, cold weather vests <br />and ANSI approved safety shoes. All uniforms will be marked by patch, sills screen or <br />embroidery with the company name and logo or other form of identification. <br />2.2 All equipment shall be clearly identified on both sides and rear of the vehicles as belonging <br />to the Contractor, well maintained, in excellent working condition, be clean in appearance <br />and without extensive visible damage, dirt graffiti etc. In addition, all vehicles shall have <br />the company's name, contractor's license number and contact information clearly <br />identified on both sides and the rear of the vehicle. <br />2.3 The Director's Representative reserves the right to direct the Contractor to remove till <br />employee or piece of equipment for not meeting high maintenance and appearance <br />standards. <br />3.0 SAFFTY REQLJIRFMEN"fS <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 19-094 <br />Page 17 <br />
