Approve Agreement with HCI Systems, Inc. <br />March 3, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />on the criteria as outlined in the RFP, and found HCI Systems, Inc. was responsive to the RFP, <br />including experience working at other secured facilities of similar nature. Staff entered into <br />negotiations with HCI Systems, Inc. and they reduced their total proposal by $46,969, which is a <br />17% reduction of their initial proposal (Exhibit 1). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy C (invest resources and technology to extend the service life of existing <br />infrastructure to protect the City's investment and support a high quality of life standard). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The estimated total delivery cost of the project is $255,422, which includes the contract, contract <br />administration, inspection, testing, and contract contingency. The funding is budgeted and <br />available for expenditure in Fiscal Year 2019-20.
