4.4.5 Weekly Alley Cleanups <br />Contractor shall provide two (2) employees in a "front loader" vehicle to provide sixty <br />(60) vehicle hours each six (6) working days each week to canvass the City <br />neighborhoods in order to remove debris left in alleyways at no additional charge. <br />Contractor shall transport all Solid Waste Collected by the Contractor from Alley <br />Cleanups within the City boundaries to a state permitted MRF, in compliance with <br />CalRecycle and acceptable to the City. <br />4.4.6 Grant Administration <br />Contractor shall be responsible for the development and management of grants <br />pursuant to the regulations contained in AB 939 and/or adopted by CalRecycle <br />including the Department of Conservation and other governmental agencies that offer <br />grants related to Collection and Recycling Services provided under this Agreement. <br />Contractor shall be compensated $ per hour for grant administrators time to <br />develop and administer grant programs as requested by the City. Contractor shall <br />submit an invoice detailing tasks performed, and time charged in quarter-hour <br />increments in order to be reimbursed for grant administrator's time. <br />4.4.7 Public Education and Outreach Consultant <br />hi the event that City, in its sole discretion, determines that the Contractor fails to fulfill <br />the public education and outreach requirements contained in this Agreement to the <br />City's satisfaction, or if CalRecycle refers the City to the Jurisdiction Compliance Unit <br />OCU) for additional enforcement review/action, or if less than ninety percent (90%) of <br />the City's Commercial and Multi -Family Customers subject to the requirements of AB <br />341 and/or AB 1826 are in compliance with the mandatory requirements for <br />Commercial Recycling and/or Organics by December 31, 2023, the City retains the right <br />to direct Contractor to provide funding for the City to retain a public education and <br />outreach consultant to perform the duties set forth in this Agreement, at no additional <br />cost to the City. The City will notify the Contractor in writing of its intent to procure a <br />public education and outreach consultant. Within 30 days of written notice from the <br />City, Contractor and City shall meet and confer in good faith prior to City retaining a <br />public education and outreach consultant to develop a scope of work, timeline, and <br />projected budget amount for the public education and outreach consultant.
