I am
writing to urge you to approve a moratorium on rent increases, evictions, and foreclosures, as proposed by the
Tenants United Santa Ana coalition. A few weeks after the start of this crisis, we are already seeing how
Santa Ana residents are being impacted. There are people who have already suffered a cut in working hours
or have had to stop working completely to take care of their relatives and they will have a lot of difficulty paying
their rent next month. In the midst of a global pandemic, our community needs nothing more to worry
about. Today more than ever they must act to protect the right to a home of every Santa Ana resident and
ensure the well-being of the children and families of Santa Ana. You have the power to care for our
community and pass a moratorium today. Thank you,
Diana Salas JSupport Staff
Clerk of the Council Office 1 20 Civic Center Plaza I Santa Ana, CA 92701
714-647-6520 1 dsalas@santa-ana.org
a $ANTA ANA COUNTS
www.santa-ana.ora
F914TER AND
VOTE]
www.ocvote.com
This e-mail (and attachments, if any) may be subject to the California Public Records Act and as such, may, therefore, be subject to public disclosure
unless otherwise exempt under the Act.
From: Belen Gil [mailto:belengil92707@gmail.com]
Sent: Tuesday, March 17, 2020 7:47 PM
To: eComment <ecomment@santa-ana.org>
Subject:
Estimado Alcalde Pulido y Miembros del Concilio,
