I am writing to urge you to approve a moratorium on rent
increases, evictions and foreclosures, as proposed by the Tenants United Santa Ana coalition.
A few weeks after the start of this crisis, we are already seeing how Santa Ana residents are being impacted.
There are people who have already suffered a cut in working hours or have had to stop working completely to take care of
their relatives and they will have a lot of difficulty paying their rent next month. In the midst of a global pandemic, our
community needs nothing more to worry about.
Today more than ever they must act to protect the right to a home of every Santa Ana resident and ensure the well-being
of the children and families of Santa Ana.
You have the power to care for our community and pass a moratorium today.
Thank you,
Marisela
From: Maricela Ramirez<mramirez@latinohealthaccess.org>
Sent: Tuesday, March 17, 2020 11:30 AM
To: eComment <ecomment@santa-ana.org>
Subject:
Estimado Alcalde Pulido y Miembros del Concilio,
Mi nombre es Marisela y soy residente de Santa Ana.
