A few weeks after the start of this crisis, we are already seeing how Santa Ana residents are being impacted.
I am a mom of two and I also take care of my grandmother. I work at home but due to "social distancing" I can
no longer work in the same way. I cannot do my job of selling in community spaces nor can I do my job as a
teacher in our cooperative.
I ask that we support the people who are our city in these difficult times. That we unite for the good of the
people.
There are people who have already suffered a cut in working hours or have had to stop working completely to
take care of their relatives and they will have a lot of difficulty paying their rent next month. In the midst of a
global pandemic, our community needs nothing more to worry about.
Today more than ever they must act to protect the right to a home of every Santa Ana resident and ensure the
well-being of the children and families of Santa Ana.
You have the power to care for our community and pass a moratorium today.
Thank you,
Martha Sanchez
Diana Salas I Support Staff
Clerl< of the Council Office 120 Civic Center Plaza I Santa Ana, CA 92701
714-647-6520 1 dsalas@santa-ana.o[g
1 A--v2020+
!_`SANTA ANA COUNTS
www.santa-ana.orR
