EXHIBIT 3 <br />Summary of Community Development Block Grant Nonprofit Applications <br />FY 2020-2022 <br />The Cambodian Family <br />Plan Ahead Youth Program <br />PAYP will help Santa Ana's low-income youth and parents from immigrant families thrive in <br />the areas of academics, leadership and parenting skills so that they are able to be engaged in <br />more positive afterschool activities, stay off streets and avoid destructive or gang related <br />activity. <br />Proposed number to be served: 228 <br />Currently Funded: $45,000 CRHC Recommendation: $68,196 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 2, 2a Funding Request: $150,000 <br />WISEPIace <br />Steps of Independence <br />WISEPIace transitional housing, trauma -informed care and wrap -around services provide the <br />tools to move women from homeless to safe and affordable housing, reuniting them with their <br />children and families. <br />Proposed number to be served: 60 <br />Currently Funded: N/A CRHC Recommendation: $90,000 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 5, 4d Funding Request: $90,000 <br />Women's Journey Foundation <br />Next Generation: Emotional Intelligence Through the Arts <br />The Next Generation: Emotional Intelligence Through the Arts Program is designed to expose <br />K-12 grade participants to the development of emotional intelligence through the integration <br />and direct engagement with the performing arts. The program culminates with a final <br />performance for their community. <br />Proposed number to be served: 520 <br />Currently Funded: N/A CRHC Recommendation: $85,000 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 2, 2a Funding Request: $148,860 <br />Young Men's Christian Association of Orange County <br />YMCA Financial Assistance Program - Santa Ana Programs <br />We would like to request CDBG funding to provide Financial Assistance to low income, very <br />low, and extremely low-income participants wishing to enroll in our Santa Ana Sports & <br />Aquatics programs (soccer, swim, dodgeball, fitness programs) and Santa Ana After -School <br />Programs. <br />Proposed number to be served: 210 <br />Currently Funded: $30,000 CRHC Recommendation: $80,000 <br />Strategic Plan Alignment: 3, 5c Funding Request: $75,000 <br />60C-25 <br />
