The CRHC Ad Hoc Committee finalized the <br />application review and recommendations on January 15, 2020, and the funding recommendations <br />are summarized in Exhibit 2. The recommended funding amounts for the non-profit organizations <br />for a two-year contract period equals $1,710,346 from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022, with the <br />exclusion of the Orange County Fair Housing Council Inc., which is funded out of program <br />administration, as in previous years, and is not subject to the 15% public service cap. A brief <br />summary of all 32 applications are shown in Exhibit 3. <br />The CRHC, acting with assistance from City staff, made substantial improvements to the CDBG <br />review process this year for our non-profit allocation in order to strengthen the process. Specifically, <br />the commission formed an Ad Hoc Committee to revise the nonprofit CDBG application and scoring <br />criteria matrix. Then, the Ad Hoc Committee and full commission adopted the following three <br />improvements: <br />60C-9 <br />
