PSSF OUTCOME #4: SERVICES ADDRESSING HOW THE CONTINUITY OF FAMLY <br />RELATIONSHIPS AND CONNECTIONS IS PRESERVED FOR CHILDREN <br />6.1 Parenting Education Classes: <br />6.1.1 Olive Crest shall provide Parenting Education classes for <br />at -risk, low-income parents and/or caregivers of children ages birth through <br />eighteen (0-18) years, hereinafter referred to as "PARTICIPANTS" for purposes <br />of Subparagraph 6.1 of this Exhibit. <br />6.1.2 Olive Crest shall provide Parenting Education classes for <br />a minimum of fifteen (15) unduplicated PARTICIPANTS. Parenting Education <br />Classes shall consist of the Active Parent curriculum and Common Sense <br />Parenting curriculum and shall include, but not be limited to, the -following <br />topics: psychologically based behavior principles, including consequences; <br />emotional reactivity; pro -activity in planning child(ren)'s growth process; <br />modeling appropriate behaviors; limit setting and boundaries; attachment and <br />bonding; child development; teaching effective praise; preventative teaching, <br />including safety issues; corrective teaching for when children) make(s) <br />mistakes; teaching self-control during stressful situations; teaching <br />II €FNF102091 <br />20 of 42 <br />(3/18/09) <br />
