He has worked on projects that include utilities, <br />permits, tracking submittals and Requests for Information, daily field <br />reports, and cost reports. George's experience also includes attending <br />municipality pre -bids and visiting project sites, as well as calculating <br />quantities tailored to each bidding project. He has developed professional <br />relationships with various subcontractors and vendors and was involved in <br />the closing process of existing San Francisco Public Utilities Commission <br />projects. George is comfortable working in the field or in an office setting <br />and he can acclimate to new environments and tasks. He is highly familiar <br />with engineering software packages. His technical skills include AutoCAD, <br />Sap2000, Heavy Construction Software, and Microsoft Office. <br />Experience <br />Metrolink Active Transportation Program - CM Services Phase I, San <br />Bernardino County, CA: Office Engineer for both pre -construction and <br />construction phase services for this multi -location project. Services include <br />participation in the evaluation of scheduling of the proposed project; <br />constructability review; construction project advertising, bid analysis, and <br />award; construction inspection; construction surveying, materials testing, <br />landscape inspection, and contract administration. Responsibilities <br />included inspection of traffic control, concrete pouring, asphalt placing, <br />aggregate base placing, monthly progress payments, and writing Resident <br />Engineer monthly and daily reports. <br />Inland Rail Trail, San Marcos to Vista Segments Phases 1A and 1 B, <br />Vista, CA: This $2.7 million project will continue a Class I Bike Trail from <br />Escondido to Oceanside. The project is a one -mile section of the overall <br />21-mile-long bike trail. Responsibilities include composing daily diaries <br />and taking daily photos to document construction progress; conducting <br />daily field inspections; keeping track of Requests for Information and <br />change orders; calculating monthly progress payments for contractor and <br />subcontractors; enforcing SWPPP and safety regulations; and updating <br />drawings with as-builts. <br />Riverside Drive Bridge Project, Los Angeles, CA: Intern for this $35 <br />million project that corrected geometrical deficiencies and addressed <br />seismic vulnerabilities. Calculated pile driving calculations, reviewed <br />falsework calculations, performed shoring and trenching work calculations, <br />and drafted and documented contract change orders addressing errors/ <br />omissions in the plans or unforeseen field conditions. Responded to <br />contractors' Requests for Information regarding plan issues and unknown <br />field conditions and performed quantity takeoffs. <br />Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement Project, Los Angeles, CA: This <br />$419 million project included demolition and replacement of the existing <br />historic Sixth Street Bridge. Was responsible for attending project weekly <br />design coordination and monthly executive meetings, took meeting <br />minutes in weekly construction meetings, and revised and assembled <br />RFP No. 19-118 1 On -Call Water Resources Construction <br />Services I Cityof Santa Ana PSOMAS <br />
