'I_;, W '% SANTA ANA STATION REFURBISHMENT <br />MESA WATER DISTRICT <br />NV5 is providing construction management and inspection <br />services for the Santa Ana Station Refurbishment project, <br />which requires three 16-inch valves to be replaced. MWD is <br />installing upgraded controls to plug valve actuators, changing <br />out the controls to clay valves, and changing the pressure - <br />relief system, which will put the valve outside to a new pre-fab <br />overflow vault to replace the existing one. In addition, a new <br />driveway approach and parking pad will be constructed and <br />coordinated with the City of Costa Mesa. <br />DATES: APRIL 2018-2019 <br />REFERENCE: MARK PELKA, SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER, 949.207.5451 <br />BANKFIELD SEWAGE PUMP STATION <br />CITY OF CULVER CITY I CULVER CITY, CA <br />NV5 is providing construction management and inspection for <br />this project. The new pump station will receive diverted flows <br />from two existing pump stations once construction is complete, <br />and possibly diverted flows from two more pump stations at a <br />later date and will have a 10-foot-by-20-foot sewage wet well <br />that is 35 feet deep, constructed in groundwater with watertight <br />shoring. There will be two submersible pumps, a flow meter <br />vault, a valve vault, a bypass vault for the two force mains, and <br />an emergency diesel -fueled backup electrical generator. There <br />also will be a 25-foot-by-20-foot building to house instrumentation <br />and SCADA systems, a bathroom and electrical components. <br />DATES: OCTOBER 2018-CURRENT <br />REFERENCE: HONG WANG, SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER, 310.253.5604 <br />EDGEWATER LIFT STATION UPGRADES <br />CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH I HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA <br />Our team provided construction management and inspection <br />services for the replacement of the Edgewater Sewer Lift <br />Station. The project consisted of the abandonment and <br />demolition of an existing sewer lift station and construction <br />and installation of a new 1,000 gpm submersible sewer lift <br />station and force main.
