Mr. Abbassi acted as staff for the City of Santa Ana and <br />AVAILABILITY <br />oversaw the $6M upgrades of the Walnut Pump Station. This upgrade project <br />70%u <br />included the removal of existing piping, pumps, motors, and valves; demolition <br />of existing 55-year-old masonry structures, including pump station electrical <br />equipment, office and shop facilities, sand trap, carport, perimeter wall, and <br />on -site paving; construction of a new enlarged 3,720-square-foot structure that <br />housed pumps, new electrical equipment, office, and shop facilities; construction <br />of 160-square-foot masonry storage building; construction of motorized valve <br />vaults and appurtenant piping to automate startup sequence for three existing <br />wells; re-routing of 24-inch DIP and CML&C piping around a new storage building <br />with valve goose -neck structure and grated receiving manhole for well startup <br />bypass water disposal; construction of new 8-foot-high perimeter masonry fence <br />wall; construction of new 10-foot-high concrete tennis practice wall; construction <br />of a motorized 8-foot-high by 16-foot-long wrought iron rolling gate; construction <br />of 20-foot by 50-foot by 14-foot-high carport; improvements to retain and <br />recharge stormwater; collapsible radio tower for SCADA purposes; installation <br />of five vertical turbine water pumps; new electrical transformers; construction <br />of new switchgear, motor control center, and well controls; replacement of site <br />wiring and conduits; and regrading and paving of site to provide access to all new <br />equipment, as well as a new streetscape in front of structure. <br />Springdale Street Water Main Rehabilitation <br />CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH I HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA <br />Construction Manager. This $6M project included improvements to a 36-inch <br />and 42-inch steel water transmission main in Springdale Street and for the <br />rehabilitation of Springdale Street from Warner Avenue to the north city limits. <br />Algonquin Sewer Lift Station <br />CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH I HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA <br />Construction Manager. Mr. Abbassi was responsible for this $1.3M sewer lift <br />station project that included the abandonment and demolition of an existing <br />V 5 sewer lift station, installation of a new sanitary sewer lift station, installation of <br />an 8-inch sewer force main on Heil Avenue, the installation of a 12-inch sewer <br />force main on Algonquin Street, asphalt paving and removal, restoration of <br />existing public and private improvements, and all appurtenant work. <br />
