events ranging from 2- to 100-year return <br />frequencies. The study included hydrologic <br />analyses of the upstream watershed in <br />accordance with the Orange County Hydrology <br />Manual and its Addendum No.1 to determine <br />24-hour Expected Value and High Confidence <br />design hydrographs tributary to the basin. <br />Upon completion of the routing analyses, we <br />developed modification alternatives to restore <br />freeboard to the basin, which were sensitive to <br />jurisdictional thresholds for regulation by the <br />California Department of Water Resources, <br />Division of Safety of Dams. We assembled the <br />analyses and findings of the study in a final <br />report that will serve as the basis of design for <br />the preferred alternative. <br />PA 51 SAMP Update Reach A and Marine Way <br />Sewer Analysis Irvine, California <br />Year completed: 2017 <br />Client name: Irvine Ranch Water District <br />Contact: Eric Akiyoshi, (949) 453-5552 <br />As part of ongoing PA 51 SAMP Update <br />modeling and report preparation, Stantec was <br />retained by IRWD to evaluate the existing <br />collection system and alternatives for <br />improvements for Reach A and Marine Way <br />sewer collection systems. The Reach A Sewer <br />analysis consisted of evaluation of the existing <br />12-inch sewer, approximately 5,000 linear feet, <br />including the railroad crossing and sewer <br />crossing the I-5 Freeway. <br />System analyses included various flow re-routing <br />alternatives and upsizing of the existing sewer <br />for interim and ultimate flows. The Marine Way <br />18-inch sewer, approximately 3,500 linear feet, <br />analysis investigated improvement alternatives <br />and flow analyses for various development <br />conditions.
