Award Purchase Order for Barracuda Backup Server <br />April 7, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />expanding list of intrusions and attacks. The Barracuda Load Balancer ADC is a Secure Application <br />Delivery Controller that enables Application Availability, Acceleration and Control, while providing <br />Application Security Capabilities. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on February 19, 2020, on the City's online bid management <br />and publication system. A summary of the Invitation for Bids and bids received is as follows: <br />593 Vendors notified <br />6 Santa Ana vendors notified <br />18 Vendors downloaded the bid packet <br />8 Bids received <br />0 Bids received from Santa Ana vendors <br />The Purchasing Division advertised this project on the City's online bid management and <br />publication system, which directly notified 18 Santa Ana vendors. None of the Santa Ana vendors <br />submitted bid packets for consideration. The bid was opened on March 4, 2020, and evaluated <br />(Exhibit 1). The bid submitted from CPACInc.com is responsive to the specifications and meets the <br />City's requirements. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #2 (address deferred maintenance on City buildings and equipment). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available for expenditure in FY 2019-2020 in the Information Technology, Data Center, <br />Hardware Maintenance & Support Account (no.10920147-62307) for an amount not to exceed <br />$50,890. <br />22A-2 <br />
