Results <br />28. Add more parks. Perhaps tear down blighted buildings and replace them <br />with public gardens or green space. Seek out cutting edge startup <br />businesses. <br />29. For affordable housing units to be time limited (perhaps up to 5-1 Oyrs per <br />family) while families are in affordable housing units families are <br />connected and followed up with community workers that can set <br />financial goals and address family needs for family to exit affordable <br />housing and be able to prep for permanent housing (like purchasing their <br />own home). <br />30. Bring on more awareness to all of these developments to the people so <br />that are more aware of the situation and can be bring in their thoughts to <br />aid in the development of these services needed in the city. <br />31. Coming up with a plan and then sharing with people. <br />32. Take in more public consideration but continue to make decisions based <br />on what they interpret. <br />33. Improve public transportation <br />39. Restructure the police, fire, city employees work to focus on helping all <br />manner of residents to become part of our community. <br />40. Know the population and their needs <br />41. We need to become more like surrounding cities such as Irvine <br />42. Safe and clean streets, less homelessness, more parks and attractive <br />opportunities for high tech companies to move in Santa Ana instead of <br />Irvine or anywhere else. <br />43. 1 live in a fairly safe area since I'm on the border of Costa Mesa by South <br />Coast Plaza but I am afraid to go deeper into Santa Ana due to the <br />homelessness and gang activity. Neighborhoods are run down and need <br />a face lift but homeowners can't afford to upgrade their homes so I would <br />suggest homeowner assistance to help update their homes. <br />44. Crime prevention & enforcing laws. Help the homeless that want help <br />and find a way to move the mentally ill into medical facilities. Offer the <br />drug addicted help and options. If they refuse, they need to move along <br />or be put in jail.
