<br />A. Demographic Summary
<br />This Demographic Summary provides an overview of data concerning race and ethnicity, sex, familial
<br />status, disability status, limited English proficiency, national origin, and age. The data included reflects the
<br />composition of the Los Angeles -Long Beach -Anaheim Region, Orange County itself, and twenty-two
<br />jurisdictions within it.
<br />1. Describe demographic patterns in the jurisdiction and region, and describe trends overtime (since
<br />1990).
<br />Orange County is located in Southern California, just south of Los Angeles, with some of the county
<br />touching the Pacific Ocean. The county has a plurality white population, with sizable Hispanic and Asian
<br />populations.
