APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH RICHARDS WATSON & GERSHON APC FOR <br />LEGAL SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $250,000 - City Attorney's <br />Office <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the law firm <br />of Richards Watson & Gershon APC ("RWG") for legal services for municipal <br />advisory and litigation services including but not limited to elections work and <br />employment matters, from June 1, 2020 until May 31, 2023, with an option to <br />extend the term for a one-year period, in an amount not to exceed $250,000, <br />subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and the City <br />Attorney (Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br />This consent Item - Agreement No. 2020-081 as approved. <br />25K. APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH BURKE, WILLIAMS & <br />SORENSEN FOR SPECIALIZED LEGAL SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $500,000 (GENERAL FUND) - City Attorney's Office <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the legal <br />services agreement with the law firm of Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP ("BWS") <br />to increase the agreement from $50,000 to $500,000 for litigation matters <br />concerning the abatement of public nuisances for a two-year term with an optional <br />one-year extension, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and the City Attorney (Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br />This consent Item - Agreement No. 2020-082 as approved. <br />25L.
