It is important for many residents in the city who have lost their jobs and
have experienced reduction on wages due to this global pandemic
I call on you to continue stand up for working class and immigrant residents in the city that have been
economically impacted. I understand landlords who shamelessly want to continue to raise rents
during this global crisis have been putting pressure on you. That is not just disappointing but morally
wrong. I urge you to put residents first over special interests, keep rent freeze in place and expand it
to 6 months.
Thank you.
Carlos Perea, West Santa Ana Resident.
