Mr. Ly assisted with construction administration <br />AFFILIATIONS <br />for the completion of an emergency project for the Long Beach Water <br />American Society of Civil <br />Department. The project provided LBWD a connection to the Los Angeles <br />Engineers (ASCE) <br />County Sanitation District's (LACSD) reclaimed water pipeline. While initially <br />California Land <br />being constructed by a different contractor under the jurisdiction of LACSD, after <br />Surveyors Association <br />construction was underway, LACSD's Contractor abandoned the project and <br />(CLSA) <br />LEWD agreed to take over the work. Work involved construction of additional <br />25-foot-deep shoring within 5 feet of the operational LACSD operational plant. <br />AVAILABILITY <br />50% <br />Arantine Hills Sewer and Water Infrastructure Projects <br />CITY OF CORONA I CORONA, CA - <br />Construction Administration. Mr. Ly assisted with construction administration <br />for the $14.7M, three-phase Arantine Hills sewer and water improvement <br />projects to provide the necessary infrastructure for the Arantine Hills <br />Development Project. The project involved the construction of a buried cast - <br />in -place sewer lift station with above -grade controls. This was connected to <br />a second project to construct the sewer force main with fused HDPE pipe via <br />conventional open trench and trenchless jack -and -bore sewer construction along <br />arterial streets and Caltrans ROW, forming 4 miles of pipeline. Relocation of <br />3,300 LF of potable water line was also required to install the new force mains. <br />A third project managed simultaneously was the construction of the California <br />Avenue Sewer at a depth of 25 feet below grade. All three projects were to be <br />completed together for the final and finished sewer lift station to function. <br />Bankfield Sewage Pump Station <br />CITY OF CULVER CITY I CULVER CITY, CA <br />Construction Administration. Mr. Ly is assisting with construction <br />administration for the construction of the Bankfield Sewage Pump Station. The <br />new pump station will receive diverted flows from two existing pump stations <br />once construction is complete, and possibly diverted flows from two more pump <br />stations at a later date. The new pump station will have a 10-foot-by-20-foot <br />sewage wet well that is 35 feet deep, constructed in groundwater with watertight <br />shoring. There will be two submersible pumps, a flow meter vault, a valve vault, <br />a bypass vault for the two force mains, and an emergency diesel -fueled backup <br />N V 5 electrical generator. There also will be a 25-foot-by-20-foot building to house <br />instrumentation and SCADA systems, a bathroom and electrical components. <br />
