Ms. Cole served as the off -site <br />community relations manager in charge of various projects under the City's <br />nearly $1 B CIP to improve or repair aging infrastructure such as pipelines, <br />reservoirs and pump stations. Responsibilities included launching the CIP <br />department's speakers' bureau program, drafting informational materials, <br />briefing elected officials and media representatives, and managing various <br />special events to commemorate the start and completion of key projects. <br />Water Conservation and Rate Increase <br />CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT I CARLSBAD, CA <br />Project Supervisor. Ms. Cole oversaw community relations for the City of <br />Carlsbad outreach efforts to support successful implementation of mandatory <br />water use restrictions and approval of increased water rates and a new water <br />rate structure. Ms. Cole managed production of information materials, website <br />updates, media materials, and bill inserts to communicate important updates to <br />customers. <br />Advanced Water Treatment Project <br />PADRE DAM MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT <br />Public Relations Manager. Ms. Cole led the public outreach team in its effort <br />to build support for Padre Dam's Advanced Water Purification Project, an <br />innovative water recycling and groundwater recharge project. She managed <br />the project's successful groundbreaking and dedication events that highlighted <br />the project's purpose and need and garnered supporters for the project. <br />Infrastructure Communications <br />WATER UTILITIES DEPARTMENT I OCEANSIDE, CA <br />Public Relations Manager. The City of Oceanside is working steadily to <br />improve its aging water infrastructure in neighborhoods throughout the City. <br />Ms. Cole is managing community relations services on a variety of pipeline <br />and infrastructure projects that support the City's infrastructure improvement <br />N V 5 <br />projects. They include water and sewer pipeline replacement projects in <br />various neighborhoods, desalination testing at the Oceanside Harbor, and <br />reservoir rehabilitation in a dense neighborhood. <br />
